Diagnostic features
Not rhizomatous.
Stems to 1.2m, erect.
Flowers 2.5-5cm across, saucer- to cup-shaped.
Sepals yellowish-green.

Chromosome number: (2n=32).

Habitat
Introduced-naturalized; grown in gardens, rarely naturalized in marginal habitats.

Distribution
Very scattered in England North to West Lancs, Jersey; Corsica and Sardinia.
