Diagnostic features
Very similar to Salix daphnoides but leaves 6-16 x 1-2cm.
Twigs very slender, ± pendent at ends.

Chromosome number: 2n=38.

Habitat
Introduced-survivor; widely planted (male only) and found in similar places to Salix daphnoides.
