Stems to 1m, erect or spreading.
Leaves deeply lobed.
Fruits 1-2cm, erect and closely appressed to stem.

Chromosome number: (2n=14).

Habitat
Native; waste places, rough and cultivated ground, hedges and roadsides.

Distribution
Very common throughout British Isles except North Scotland.
