Diagnostic features
Differs from Primula florindae in its leaves gradually tapered to cuneate base.

Chromosome number: (2n=22).

Habitat
Introduced-naturalized.

Distribution
Planted on mountains in Caerns in 1921 and still there, often not flowering; Himalayas to West China.
