Diagnostic features
Leaves 4-13cm, broadly ovate, cordate, angled or lobed.
Corolla-lobes purplish- to pale pink, often darker at base but not with distinct blotch, 15-30mm.

Chromosome number: (2n=20, 28).

Habitat
Introduced-naturalized; on roadside verges and in woods and grassy places.

Distribution
Scattered in Southwest & Southeast England; Central & East Mediterranean.
