Diagnostic features
Glabrous rhizomatous perennial.
Stems erect, to 35cm.
Leaves alternate, 1-4cm, dorsiventral, serrate.
Flowers in dense subcorymbose panicle.
Petals 4(-5), 2-4mm, greenish-yellow.

Chromosome number: 2n=22.

Habitat
Native; mountain rocks and sea cliffs.

Distribution
Wales, Ireland, Scotland, North England, rare garden escape elsewhere.
