Diagnostic features
Stems to 2.5m, ± erect.
Leaflets 2-9cm, lanceolate, acuminate, 2-serrate.
Panicle 7-34cm, with dense flowers and branches arising at narrow angle.

Chromosome number: (2n=36).

Habitat
Introduced-naturalized; commonly grown and extensively suckering, naturalized on walls and waste ground.

Distribution
Southeast England; North Asia.
