Diagnostic features
Stems arching, to 2m.
Leaves 1-2.5cm, obovate, crenate-dentate in distal 1/2, pubescent on lowerside.
Panicle round-topped.
Petals white.

Chromosome number: (2n=36).

Habitat
Introduced-naturalized; grown in gardens, naturalized in scrub.

Distribution
Occasional in South Britain; Himalayas.
