Diagnostic features
Perennial with erect flowering stems to 60m arising from leaf-rosette.
Leaves pinnate, with 2-4 pairs of broadly elliptic leaflets.
Flowers in terminal cymes.
Petals white, longer than sepals.
Achenes glabrous.

Chromosome number: (2n=14).

Habitat
Native; on basic rocks.

Distribution
One site each in Monts and Rads, 2 in East Sutherland, occasional escape from cultivation elsewhere.
