Diagnostic features
Annual to biennial with erect to ascending stems to 50cm.
Leaves with 3-5 leaflets.
Flowers in terminal cymes.
Petals yellow, 1.5-3mm, shorter than sepals.
Stamens 5-10.
Achenes glabrous.

Chromosome number: (2n=14, 70).

Habitat
Introduced-naturalized.

Distribution
By pool at 1 site in Salop since at least 1976; North America.
