Scientific name: Sibbaldia procumbens L.
Diagnostic features Leaves in basal rosette with obovate-obtriangular leaflets mostly with 3 apical teeth. Flowering stems 1-5cm, procumbent to ascending. Flowers densely clustered, c.5mm across. Petals absent or 5, 1.5-2mm, pale yellow.
Chromosome number: (2n=14).
Habitat Native; grassy and rocky slopes and rock-crevices above 470m.
Distribution Frequent in Central & North Scotland, Westmorland record probably an error.
