Diagnostic features
Stolons to 50cm, slender, bearing ternate leaves and solitary axillary flowers on erect pedicels 3-10cm.
Flowers c.10-18mm across.
Fruit ± globose, 8-16mm across, not juicy, tasteless.

Chromosome number: (2n=42, 84).

Habitat
Introduced-naturalized; cultivated as curiosity and occasionally escapes into shady places.

Distribution
Very scattered in Britain;South & East Asia.
