Scientific name: Aremonia agrimonioides (L.) DC.

Diagnostic features
Stems to 30cm, decumbent, scarcely or not longer than basal leaves.
Leaves 2-3 pairs of main leaflets, the apical 3 much the largest.
Fruiting hypanthium 5-6mm, ± globose.

Chromosome number: (2n=42).

Habitat
Introduced-naturalized; in woods and shady roadsides.

Distribution
Central Scotland; South & Central Europe.
