Diagnostic features
Tree to 10m.
Leaves partially pinnate, differing from those of above 2 hybrids in having total of 8-10 pairs of lateral veins and (1-)2(-3) pairs of free well-separated leaflets.
Styles 2-3.
Fruits scarlet, with small sparse lenticels; fully fertile.

Habitat
Introduced-naturalized; frequently grown in gardens and parks and sometimes self-sown.

Distribution
Naturalized in West Kent and North Aberdeen; Scandinavia.
