Lindley's Cotoneaster
Scientific name: Cotoneaster insignis Pojark.
Diagnostic features Deciduous shrub or tree to 6m with erect to arching branches. Leaves 2.5-6cm, flat, pubescent to sparsely so on lowerside. Inflorescences 5-15(20)-flowered. Anthers white. Fruits bluish-black, 7-9mm, subglobose, with 1(-2) stones showing at apex.
Habitat Introduced-naturalized.
Distribution Southeast England; West Himalayas.
