Diagnostic features
Differs from Cotoneaster bacillaris in leaves slightly thicker.
Fruits red, becoming brownish-black when fully ripe, with slight white bloom, with 1-2 stones scarcely showing at apex.

Habitat
Introduced-naturalized.

Distribution
South Hants, Beds, West Kent and Surrey; Southwest China.
