Scientific name: Cotoneaster cochleatus (Franch.) G. Klotz
Diagnostic features Evergreen, procumbent shrub to 0.2m. Differs from Cotoneaster microphyllus in leaves 5-14mm, sparsely pubescent on lowerside. Inflorescences 1-flowered. Flowers 8-10mm across. Fruits 6-10mm, subglobose, red to crimson.
Habitat Introduced-naturalized.
Distribution Midlothian; Southwest China.
