Scientific name: Cotoneaster cashmiriensis G. Klotz
Diagnostic features Evergreen, procumbent shrub to 0.3m. Differs from Cotoneaster microphyllus in leaves 4-11mm. Inflorescences 1-flowered. Flowers c. 7-9mm across. Fruits 4-6mm, bright red, subglobose.
Habitat Introduced-naturalized.
Distribution East Kent and formerly Lanarks; Kashmir. Commonly grown, usually as Cotoneaster cochleatus.
