Diagnostic features
Erect, deciduous shrub to 3m.
Leaves 1-3cm, with veins slightly impressed on upperside, white- to grey-tomentose on lowerside.
Flowers 5-15 together.
Anthers white.
Fruits 7-9mm, bright red, broadly obovoid to globose, with 2 stones.

Habitat
Introduced-naturalized.

Distribution
South Lancs; Central China.
