Diagnostic features
Tree to 15m.
Adult leaves 6-13(20)cm, lanceolate to oblanceolate, slightly curved, with 3-5 longitudinal veins.
Flower-heads c.10mm across, few per raceme, cream to yellow.
Fruits coiled pods.

Chromosome number: (2n=26).

Habitat
Introduced-naturalized; grown for ornament, locally ± naturalized in seaside scrub.

Distribution
South Devon and Scilly; Australia.
