Flowers 1-2(4), 4-8mm.
Fruits 9-16mm, (3)4(-5)-seeded.
Peduncles shorter than to as long as (not longer than) leaves.

Chromosome number: 2n=14.

Habitat
Native; grassy places.

Distribution
Channel Islands, England and Wales, very scattered and mostly introduced in Scotland and Ireland.
