Scientific name: Euphorbia cyparissias L.

Diagnostic features
Stems to 50cm.
Leaves linear, crowded (especially on lateral branches), up to 2(3)mm wide, scarcely narrowed at base or apex.

Chromosome number: 2n=20, 40.

Habitat and distribution
Possibly native in chalk grassland in East Kent and perhaps elsewhere in Southeast England, naturalized in rough grassland and waste places scattered throughout British Isles.
