Small deciduous shrub with bluish-grey-green appearance.
Leaves deeply 2-3 pinnately lobed, with strong sistinctive smell.
Stipules absent.
Flowers numerous, 4-5 petalled, 15-20mm across.
Petals yellow.
Stigma 1.

Habitat
Much grown, sometimes produces seedlings in shrubberies.

Distribution
Waste places and wall cracks in South England; East Mediterranean.
