Scientific name: Hedera colchica (K. Koch) K. Koch
Diagnostic features Stems creeping, scrambling and weakly climbing to c.10m. Leaves mostly 15-25cm wide, unlobed or slightly 3-5-lobed, entire or denticulate, with orange-brown semi-peltate hairs with mostly 15-25 rays held parallel to surface.
Chromosome number: (2n=192).
Habitat Introduced-naturalized; much grown in shrubberies and on walls and often long-persistent and spreading.
Distribution Scattered over Britain, Man; Caucasus.
