Diagnostic features Stems to 3m. Leaves mostly entire, sometimes a few 3-lobed. Sepals (10)12-16(20)mm. Corolla 4-7cm, usually blue when fresh. Ovary 3-celled. Stigma 3-lobed.
Chromosome number: (2n=30).
Habitat Introduced-casual; tips and waste places, from soyabeans, birdseed and other sources.
Distribution Sporadic in South England; North America.
