Scientific name: Phlomis russeliana (Sims) Benth.
Diagnostic features Herb to 1m. Basal leaves ovate, cordate at base, 6-20cm, with longer petiole. Calyx 20-25mm. Corolla 30-35mm, yellow.
Habitat Introduced-naturalized; banks by roads and railways, rough ground.
Distribution Persistent or ± naturalized in few places in England and Scotland; Turkey.
