Scientific name: Salvia reflexa Hornem.

Diagnostic features
Erect eglandular annual to 60cm.
Leaves linear- to lanceolate-oblong, cuneate at base, entire to crenate.
Bracts small, green or tinged purplish.
Corolla 6-12mm, pale blue.
Flowers only 1-4 per whorl.

Chromosome number: (2n=20).

Habitat
Introduced-casual; alien from birdseed, grain, grass-seed and wool in waste and rough ground.

Distribution
Scattered in England and South Scotland, mainly South England; North America.
